Self Defense Made Easy With The TASER C2

If you have already bought a TASER C2 you probably are aware how easy it is to use. You probably took the time to read the owner manual and watch the training DVD that comes with each TASER C2. By doing this you became familiar with the most effective way to use the TASER C2. If you have just purchased your TASER C2 make sure you take the time and go through the training DVD and owner manual as soon as it arrives.

The Lithium Battery Cartridge that powers the unit has enough stored power to last for about 50 firings of the unit. A word of caution here, do not put the magazine cartridge into the C2 before the Power Cartridge. Put the battery cartridge in first and then put the magazine cartridge in. After you have inserted the battery cartridge a green light will light up to let you know the TASER C2 is operational.

The next thing you need to do is load your air cartridges. Make sure the safety switch cover is closed and that the TASER is pointing in a safe direction. Remove the cartridge cover at the front of the C2 and insert the cartridge until you hear it click. That indicates it is locked in place. Just to make sure, gently pull on the sides of the cartridge. There is not an "up" or "down" on the air cartridges so you don't have to worry about putting the cartridge in wrong. This is also a nice feature for when you are under any stress so you can reload quickly if needed. Each cartridge carries the probes, wire, and compressed air. Do not try to open these cartridges.

Do not try to imitate the fancy hand positions we see on TV shows when someone is using a gun when you use the TASER C2. Always hold it just like you would a handgun, vertically. Slide the safety cover back so that the firing button is now exposed and aim at the assailant. Every C2, except for one model, comes equipped with a built in laser sighting device. This laser will place a red dot on your assailant when you point it at him. This dot represents the approximate landing position of the top probe. Try to shoot for the chest area. Make sure you are within 15 feet of your attacker. That is the maximum range of the probes.

The spread of the two probes varies with the distance you are away from an attacker. For the best results try to be about 7 to 10 feet away from him. At this distance your probe spread will be about 16 inches which is what we want. This will produce maximum effectiveness. Try to make sure you get more then a 4 inch spread of the probes.

You should always practice firing with the unit before you actually need to use it. You can practice across the room at targets to get the best feel for the C2. TASER units have little miniature barbs in them that will actually puncture the skin or penetrate clothing to send the electrical volts and wattage into the body. When you are ready to use a TASER C2, flip the safety switch to expose the firing button and you will see a light that will be the indicator that the gun is ready to fire.

There is also a stun capability backup called the Drive Stun Back Up. This means that if you just happen to run out of cartridges and you still need to disable an attacker you can approach the person and use the stun gun functionality. The TASER C2 has two stun gun electrodes that will allow you to depress the volts into the attacker's neck or other exposed body part and then make your escape.

As soon as your attacker is on the ground and incapacitated, place the TASER C2 on the ground and run away to a safe location. Do not try to retrieve your TASER C2. The manufacturer will replace your unit if you send them a copy of the police report of your attack.

Things To Know About OC Pepper Spray

Oleoresin Capsicum Pepper Spray is the most widely used less-than-lethal, self-preservation product in use today. It is more generally referred to as "OC Pepper Spray." In the past few years its popularity has grown. It has now become the primary personal defense device preferred by more average law-keeping individuals than any other defensive weapon.

What is there to know about OC spray and how it works? Pepper spray is made from a naturally occurring, harmless substance found in hot pepper plants called Oleoresin Capsicum (OC). This is where it gets its name. OC is the active component that makes peppers hot. The effectiveness or hotness of pepper spray is calculated in Scoville Heat Units (SHU). SHU is a scale developed in 1912 by an American chemist named Wilbur Scoville to gauge the hotness or spiciness of a variety of peppers. The number of SHU indicates the amount of capsaicin that is present in any given pepper. For example, a common bell pepper has no capsaicin present and is therefore rated at 0 SHU, however, Jalapeno's are rated at 5000 and a Habanero is a whopping 250,000-300,000 SHU. For a pepper spray to be effective on an aggressor it should be rated at 2 million SHU, however, some law enforcement strength pepper spray is rated even higher at 5 million.

OC spray acts as an inflammatory agent. It causes immediate closing of the eyes, impaired vision, gasping for air, runny nose and out of control coughing that will bring any assailant to the ground. OC spray is also very effectual on "perps" under the influence of illicit drugs, alcohol, or suffering with a severe mental disorder. The effects of OC usually last from thirty to forty-five minutes, depending on the potency of the spray, with diminished effects lasting for several hours. Usually the attacker will fully recover from the effects of pepper spray once it completely wears off and he will not endure any lasting unpleasant aftereffects.

OC Pepper spray can't be wash off with water regardless of how much is used. The most effective way to diminish the symptoms of pepper spray affecting the eyes is by blinking rapidly to bring about tearing. This will facilitate in washing the irritant out of the eyes. Moreover, to keep the burning sensation from dispersing to other parts of the body it is best to refrain from touching the affected areas. Rubbing salve or creams onto the affected body regions, only serves to trap the capsaicin in the skin thereby resulting in more severe burning and possibly blistering.

Pepper spray normally comes in canisters, which are often miniature enough in size to be carried or hidden away inside a pocket or purse. Pepper spray can also be bought disguised as ordinary items such as rings, lipstick, or some other everyday object such as a pager or pen. Additionally, pepper spray will expire after about 3-4 years due to the aerosol propellant escaping from the container. If used after the expiration date, it might not spray as expected. The expiration date of some models can be found on the label.

On the whole, the populace regards pepper spray as the best non-fatal self-protection tool that is accessible today. It is not considered deadly force to use them; therefore, they are legal in most states and with no special permit being required. Nonetheless, there are some states that do control the acquisition and usage of pepper spray. Inside the sate of New York, it must be purchased from an approved pharmacist or firearms broker. The commonwealth of Massachusetts also requires pepper spay to be purchased from a certified firearms dealer. In Michigan, pepper spray made with OC cannot be stronger than 2%, and in Wisconsin, OC pepper spray cannot exceed 10%. In California and Florida pepper spray is legally permissible up to a 2oz size canister. When traveling, OC cannot be taken on board any airplane for understandable security reasons. Before purchasing pepper spray it is a good idea to inquire with your local police department about any laws or restrictions.

Different Self Defense Options For Women

Everyone needs to make sure that they are safe from risk, but in particular women are more at risk of attack than men. Women therefore need to be particularly concerned with self-defense in their day-to-day lives. Crime is often a risk wherever you are as hardened criminals and opportunists will look to steal your things and cause you harm. It is easy to ignore it all and to think that it will never be a problem for you, but in reality women all over the world are getting attacked and raped everyday.

Whilst men are at risk of attack, women are more so. An attack is most likely to occur at night when it is dark and so steps need to be taken to ensure that you have done all that you can to avoid anyplace where you might be attacked. Never go anywhere alone at night and always make sure that you stay in well-lit areas. Avoid things like side streets and any vegetated areas where you might be in great danger of attack. Also, if you are going on a night out then try to limit your drinking and not get too drunk.

There are a number of different ways in which you can defend yourself. One thing that you can do is to take self defense classes and to make sure that you know certain ways of protecting yourself against any would be attacker using only your arms and legs. You will be taught about techniques designed to focus on any attackers weak points such as their eyes and groin.

As well as any martial arts, you also need to make sure that you are always carrying with you some different defense devices that can be used on any attacker to incapacitate them. One great option is to use a stun gun, which will deliver a high voltage jolt to the attackers chest that will temporarily render them unable to move. This will give you plenty of time to get away and alert the proper authorities that will be able to arrest them.

You can also get your hands on a taser. Much like a stun gun, a taser will also deliver a high voltage shock to an attacker, which will paralyze them temporarily from as far away as twenty feet.

Another good item is pepper or mace sprays. These have been used for years by both men and women and are excellent when any attacker is at closer quarters to you. These are used to spray into the face and eyes of any attacker and can affect the respiratory system as well as forcing the attackers eyes to shut for a period of about 30 minutes. These sprays can also be masked as pens and rings so that attackers are caught unawares.

Another last-ditch option will be to arm yourself with a knife and to keep this in your bag. However, this should only be used in very extreme circumstances as a knife can cause extreme damage and might be turned against you.

Whatever you choose to use, you should make sure that you are fully prepared from any possible attack by having at least on device on you at all times.

Lethal vs. Non-Lethal Weapons

It is important for people to be ever vigilant about their personal safety because we live in an unsafe world. Self-defense weapons is one way to secure your safety and these weapons can be categorized as lethal and non-lethal. Let's compare the two choices.

Lethal Self Defense Weapons

Rifles, shotguns, handguns and knives are examples of lethal weapons. These particular weapons can inflict severe wounds and their effects can be permanent as well as deadly. Most require instructions in their use and some require a license or permit to carry. Regular practice is also needed to become and stay proficient in their use. Sometimes the line between self-defense and assault can become blurred when these arms are used to defend yourself, as it can be considered "a use of excessive force" especially if your attacker isn't armed. Keep in mind that your lethal weapons can be used against you if your attacker manages to overpower and disarm you. When using firearms, you must know your target and what is beyond the target to avoid injuring innocent bystanders. These deadly weapons are not for the inexperienced. Lethal weapons can be expensive to own and the responsibility of ownership is much greater. If you are willing to use lethal force to protect yourself or your family, then you may have to live with the repercussions for the rest of your life.

Non-Lethal

A non-lethal weapon is a device purposely designed to be used to bring someone to their knees without causing fatal harm or and permanent injury. Unlike standard arsenal, non-lethal weapons use a method other than deadly force to reach the objective. Examples of non-lethal weapons are defense sprays such as pepper spray and mace, and energy devices such as stun guns and tasers. When properly used, non-lethal weapons will not cause severe injury, death or have any permanent consequences. Yet they are effective in stopping an attacker long enough to give you time to flee. A license or permit is not needed in order to carry any of these kinds of weapons. Any person can use them with very little or no special tutoring. Many have safety precautions, which will render the device inoperative if an assailant takes it away from you. Another benefit of non-lethal weapons is there is lower risk of innocent bystanders being seriously harmed because none of the effects are lasting. They are much more affordable than other types of weaponry.

The Choice is Yours

Your choice to carry self-defense weapons, whether lethal or non-lethal, is a personal decision. Keep in mind, being armed and prepared to use a weapon in self-defense won't stop every crime, however, it can drastically reduce your chances for an attack and greatly increase your survival if you are attacked.

Pepper Spray And Why We Need It

Not too long ago a friend of mine was assaulted in the parking lot while she was walking to her car after work. She is fine now. But, she had quite a few fears to overcome immediately after getting home from the hospital. If she had had some sort of self defense product to defend herself with the night she was attacked, she might not have wound up in the hospital. Pepper spray is a non-lethal way to protect yourself if someone is trying to harm you.

In the world in which we live, it is difficult to understand how people can be so horrible to each other. But, let's face it, crime is a part of our lives and we must do what we can to keep ourselves safe. I do not have a problem with anyone who chooses to have a handgun. However, guns can be lethal and are just not for me. I would rather use OC spray as my self defense weapon.

I checked out a web site online that specializes in different types of self defense products. I immediately discovered a liking to OC defensive sprays. There were so many colors, I thought I was opening a crayon box. I even gasped a little. My sister was amazed that these were actually pretty items.

My mother always taught me to help others in need. That is something she did until the day she died. She was always ready with a helping hand and an open heart. She felt it was her privilege to help others. She told me never to fail to give help to others. This shows love and helps to spread hope.

Some of them will spray up to 25 feet. That's a long way! You spray it right into the face and eyes. It causes a burning sensation and the eyes shut. That would have to be terribly painful. But, it is not deadly according to what I have been told. It reached beyond my brain's power.

I want a good measure of self-defense. Even though the prices seemed reasonable enough, why spend money if it is not going to work for me at all? This amount of spray seems to be able to do the job. Even if the perpetrator is a large person, using the pepper spray should stop them from harming me. Besides, I do not want to kill them. I just want to stop them.

For women who need fashion coordinates, there is pepper spray for you, too. I have seen the pepper spray in red, green, blue, pink (yes ladies, pink), and silver. Such a variety that it should be easy for you to find something you like. They will fit in your purse, hand or even in your pocket.

This would make a great gift for anyone you care about. It will give them a sense of security and might even save their life. How could anyone not appreciate your thoughtfullness upon receiving such a fantastic gift? Is it not better to have pepper spray and not need it, than to not have it and then need it?

Protecting Yourself With Stun Guns

It was not very long ago that a friend of mine was attacked while she was walking home after work. She is fine now. But, she had to overcome certain fears immediately after getting home from the hospital. Stun guns are a non-lethal way to protect yourself if someone is trying to harm you.

I guess we just never took the time to think how unsafe our lives are. We seem to take for granted that life is so precious and there are people who are willing to take that life, no matter the costs. People are rude and obnoxious. They take with no feeling for the other person's suffering. This is the world we have today.

I did not know that these objects came in so many shapes and sizes. They look like billy clubs, and flashlights. I thought that was kind of cute. There are even some that look like cell phones! Can you believe it, they look just like the phone!

But, this world does not have many people like that any more. People are too selfish, now. They care nothing for others; only themselves. It is only about what they can take. This is the reason my daughter was attacked and left for dead. This is the reason her face was badly beaten and cut. This is the reason why we all should take measures to be sure our family members are protected.

Stun guns make sense to me. Now, if you want to have a pistol, I do not blame you. But, for me, I just do not think I could pull the trigger. I guess I am afraid of the mess I will have to clean. What ever the reason, I have no problems using the likes of a stun gun.

I want a good measure of self-defense. Even though the prices seemed reasonable enough, why spend money if it is not going to work for me at all? This amount of power seems to be able to do the job. Even if the perpetrator is a large person, this should stop them from harming me. Besides, I do not want to kill them. I just want to stop them.

For women who need fashion coordinates, there are stun guns for you, too. I have seen red, green, blue, pink (yes ladies, pink), and yellow. There are camouflaged ones, too. Such a variety that it should be easy for you to find something you like. They will fit in your purse, pocket, hand or even in your boots.

This would make a fantastic gift for anyone you care for. You think not! Why? It gives a sense of security and may save their lives. How could anyone not think this would make a spectacular gift? Is it not better to have a stun gun and not need it, than to not have one, and then need it?

Why You Need Self Defense Products

Most people never expect to have a need for self-defense equipment. They may feel if they own a stun gun or canister of pepper spray, they are accepting the fact that some day the unthinkable might happen. Figuring if they don't think about self-defense, they will never need it. This couldn't be further from the truth. The unfortunate reality is, the world is not a safe place. There are "sickos", "weirdoes" and perverts out there with one thing in mind, their pleasure and your agony. Personal security devices are essential tools in today's unsafe world. Here's a few reasons why:

1) Personal security products are needed as a safety measure against attack.

Owning self-defense product is like having car insurance. No one ever expects to get into a vehicle mishap, but we have to have it anyway as a precaution. This is why it is necessary to have self defense weapons around. They are great to have around if you are ever in a situation where they are needed. It's significantly better to have something and not need it than to need something and not have it.

2) Assaults are commonplace in this day and age. Most take place suddenly and unexpectedly, and they can happen to anyone.

Self-defense products are a necessary means of survival these days because it is rare for someone to go through life without at least one confrontation with an assailant. By carrying pepper spray, a stun gun or some other defensive device, you have a means to protect yourself against that degenerate attacker; even one much larger or stronger than you. Defending yourself against a mugger who means you serious harm is not only the right thing to do, it is the morally superior thing to do. After all this person has gone out of his way to inflict harm on you for his gain.

3) The only individual you can depend on in an assault is YOU.

If you are ever attacked, it is unlikely that anyone, even the police, will come to your aid fast enough. We live in a dangerous world with too many drugs, gangs, robberies, assaults, rapes, home intrusions, etc. There simply isn't a sufficient amount of law officers available to be on all street corners in every metropolitan area. You can't count on help from eyewitnesses either. Most will be too afraid for their own safety to attempt your rescue. Let's face it; it will be up to you to protect yourself in any way possible. This is why it is vital to have some sort of self protection device available to defend yourself with and help you escape an assailant.

Remember you can own all the self-defense products available, but they will do you absolutely no good if you don't use them. Keep them handy. Be familiar with their operation. You must be prepared to use them if the situation should arise. The best part about stun guns, TASER devices, pepper spray and mace type self-defense weapons is they are non-lethal in nature. They will not leave any lasting effects. Their primary purpose is to bring that "punk" down long enough for you to escape and find help.

How Not to Become a Victim of Assault

Unfortunately personal attacks are a very common crime in our society today. Whichever form it may be, a robbery or assault, it is one of the most insidious invasions of our personal safety. Why does an attacker pick one individual to become his victim and not another? What do they look for when they choose their victim? Attackers are very good at noticing the signs of a potential victim. It's a good idea to know what these signs are so you can circumvent the likely hood of becoming the next potential victim of crime.

A predator is in all actuality a coward and is looking for a victim who appears weak, submissive and unaware. A target that won't (or can't) fight back and is easy to ambush. It's important to know that your potential for becoming a victim is influenced by the unconscious signals you project to a predator. Body language and non-verbal cues are unconscious signals that make up 80-90% of our communication. Predators, whether deliberately or intuitively, form an opinion about you and how easy you will be to dominate and control from these signals.

Fortunately there are ways to reduce your chances of being an attack victim. If these creeps look for individuals who appear to be subdued, passive and distracted, then you must portray the opposite. One way is to convey an air of confidence. Confidence is a non-victim quality. The more confident or self-assured one appears, the less likely are the chances of becoming "the mark". An attacker will avoid a subject who appears capable of resistance and difficult to subdue. Any display of strength or defiance, whether blatant or implied, is often sufficient to cause a predator to seek out an easier target. One way to portray self-assurance would be to walk with your head held upright, at a brisk pace as if with a purpose and look alert.

Being strongly aware of your surroundings at all times is another way to lower the odds of becoming a victim. Being more aware allows you better opportunity of detecting a potential attacker and you also project an image of vigilance. Be conscious of who is around you and what activities or events are going on at all times. Make eye contact with everyone who is walking toward you. villains are looking for a target who isn't paying attention and are unaware of what's going on. So put away all of your "electronic gadgets!" Turn off your cell phone, iPod, PDA, laptop, etc. If you use devices like these in a public place, such as a parking garage, mall, or park, you run the risk of being distracted and could get caught off guard by an assailant before you realize what is happening.

Besides projecting an air of poise and watchfullness, an additional line of defense is to carry a few standard personal security items with you, such as a personal alarm, a canister of pepper spray and/or a stun gun. A personal alarm is just the right device for getting yourself noticed when you really need it. These small, inexpensive items are very easy to take with you wherever you go. When activated, they will emit an earsplitting and insufferable noise. Pepper spray is a non-fatal self-defense spray that is made from oleoresin capsicum (OC), a by-product of pepper. When sprayed in an attacker's face or eyes, pepper spray will irritate the eyes causing profuse tearing, pain and even short-term blindness. A stun gun is a defense weapon designed to temporarily halt an assailant by delivering a non-lethal, high-voltage electric shock. Keep in mind that these security devices will not keep you safe if you do not use them.

The Perfect Gift for The Entire Family at Christmastime is Crime Prevention

The Christmas holiday season is a busy time of the year for everyone including crooks. A lot of people are distracted by all the little details of their holiday plans and the shopping that lays ahead of them. Holiday shoppers are running from store to store often carrying large amounts of money and loaded down with packages. Perhaps more so than at other times of the year. Regrettably criminals will also be out and about looking for their next easy mark. This is certainly not the time to let your guard down. Becoming the unfortunate victim of a crime can certainly destroy anyone's Christmas cheer.

The FBI reports that criminal activity increases during December. Crimes such as burglaries, muggings, car thefts, robberies, pick pocketing, credit card scams, etc. Remember to be vigilantly follow all the safety measures you normal do when it's not the holiday season. Criminals will be on the look out for someone they can catch off guard.

After that Thanksgiving feast when you head out to the malls to start that holiday shopping, be sure to keep the following tips in mind. Don't forget these tips are relevant at other times of the year too.

SAFETY IN THE PARKING LOT

The holiday season can be a challenge when it comes to staying safe while shopping. One reason is there are fewer daylight hours this time of year. When shoppers arrive at the mall it may still be daylight outside. Anxious to get inside and start shopping, they are probably not considering it will be dark when they come out. They are not thinking about their safety in the dark and pay little attention to where they park.

Because parking lots fill up quickly this time of year, it might be harder to find a good parking spot. Look for one that has plenty of light and lots of pedestrian traffic around. Avoid parking in remote areas if at all possible and don't forget to lock your vehicle when you leave. Become familiar with the area where you parked. Take a mental note of the row and number so you can easily find your car when you return.

Take a companion along when you shop. This will lessen your chances of being targeted by an attacker or mugger. If you have no choice but to shop alone, then try to walk with other shoppers through the parking lot.

SHOPPING MALL SAFETY

Once inside the mall stay away from dark hallways and backroom areas, especially near closing time. Avoid using bathrooms that are hidden in a back passageway. Use facilities located near the mall's food court or other well-trafficked areas instead.

Always be cautious and alert when walking in crowded places. Beware of strangers who bump, shove or get too close. Pickpockets may use these diversions to lift your wallet. Keep a close eye on your shopping bags and other personal belongings. Carry your purse firmly near your body and never leave it unattended in the shopping cart. Do not keep your wallet, credit cards or cash in your back pocket or a backpack. Pickpockets can quickly and easily remove these items without being detected. Carry these items in your front pockets instead.

Don't carry large amounts of cash with you. Try to make your purchases using a personal check, credit card, or ATM card if you can. At the times when you do pay using cash, pull out only what you need. Keep the rest of your cash hidden away so bystanders can see how much you are carrying. Regardless of the time of year, it is never a good idea to carry large amounts of cash with you. Try to save your most costly purchases for last, so you can head straight home afterward.

Try not to overload yourself with packages when it is time to return to your car. Combine smaller ones with one or two larger packages, or make several trips to your car. If you are overburdened, you won't be able to see who may be approaching and it could prevent you from quickly responding to a threat.

Always have your car keys ready to avert having to search for them in your purse or pocket when you reach your vehicle. Look over your shoulder periodically to make sure you are not being followed back to your car. As you draw near to your vehicle wait until you are almost upon it before using your fob to unlock it. Unlocking it too early could possibly inform a would-be assailant which car is yours. He could then hurry on ahead to reach your car before you and wait for your arrival. When you arrive at your vehicle be sure to look into the back seat before you get in to make sure no one is hiding inside.

Place your packages in the trunk out of sight. Do this when you first get to your car, rather than waiting until you park at your next stop. Gifts and other valuables should never be left in clear view this would provide thieves a reason to break into your vehicle while you are shopping.

When you get into your vehicle lock your doors immediately and drive off. Don't wait around sitting there to check off your shopping list, jot purchases down in your checkbook ledger or whatever it is that may cause you to delay your departure. This creates the perfect opportunity for an attacker to approach you and force his way into your car, especially if you didn't lock the doors.

Another precaution you may to consider using is to carry a personal alarm. This small device is perfect for drawing attention to yourself if you should ever need to. It is easily carried on your wrist or key chain. When activated it will emit a loud annoying sound designed to get noticed by others. An attacker won't this and will leave you alone.

Following the safety advice outlined above will help your holiday to be a merry one.

Self Defense Products – Which Ones Should You Choose?

Anyone can become a victim of crime. No one can predict when or where it will happen. As such it is wise to stay alert and be ready to take preventative action at all times. Most people don't think they'll ever become a victim of a crime. So they don't give it much thought. This is the type of person an attacker hopes to find to be his next victim.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation reports that crimes occur around the clock in the United States. Violent crimes such as murder, rape, assault, etc. are happening all the time somewhere in the U.S. Regrettably there are no guarantees you won't be the next victim of a vicious attack. If it ever happens to you, it will mostly likely ocurr all of a sudden.

Reducing the risk of becoming the next victim is the definitive goal of preventing crime. This is easily achieved by making yourself less of a target. There are quite a few self-defense tactics you can choose to use for your own personal protection. Taking a self-defense class is one method you may want to consider, especially if you are a woman. Self-defense products are another method you may want to use.

Self-defense products are becoming a very popular means of protection these days due to the tremendous increase in crime. They are legal in most states and are not that expensive if you consider their importance in your protection. They are also widely used by police forces and military units throughout the world for law enforcement and crowd control.

Self-defense products are non-lethal devices designed to give you enough time to get away from danger. Novices can easily use them with confidence.

There are many options available when it comes to picking a self-defense product. Three of the most popular devices are personal alarms, pepper spray and stun guns. You can choose which one is the best product to use.

A personal alarm is perfect for drawing attention to yourself when you need to. The last thing an assailant wants is to attract attention. They are small, affordable devices that can be easily carried on your wrist or key chain. When activated they emit a very loud and annoying sound designed to get noticed by others. An attacker won't like this and will leave you alone.

Pepper spray is very effective in stopping an attacker by causing his eyes to burn and tear. The spray may also cause a shortness of breath and coughing. It can spray a target up to' feet away. The effects are only temporary and last up to 1/2 hour.

Stun guns are powerful devices and will disable almost anyone. They affect the part of the brain that controls muscular movement. They are very effective in improving your chances of escaping danger. Attackers can't help being disabled after being hit with an electrical charge from a stun gun.

All self-defense products above are easy to use and highly effective when it comes to personal protection. You might want to consider keeping all three on hand should you ever need them.
